let me find out where we’ve landed
somehow this doesn’t seem so right
we could be lost we could be stranded
in the darkness of the night
and i don’t see the broad horizon
don’t feel the warmth of the sun
which makes it all the more surprising
when you think on where we’ve come
we sailed the seventh sea
to touch the distant shore
but the truths we have to tell
have all been told before
